Luminette® - Light therapy glasses
During the night, the ganglion cells recognize that the light is decreasing and send this information to the pineal gland. This then triggers an increase in the level of melatonin in the blood, which prepares the body for falling asleep.
At daybreak, light activates the ganglion cells present in the retina. These cells send information to the pineal gland, which then interrupts the production of melatonin.
Ocular exposure to a special light devoid of infrared and ultraviolet, for 30 minutes in the morning, makes it possible to compensate for this lack of external luminosity, and thus to interrupt the production of melatonin.

How does Luminette® work?
Thanks to a patented mechanism, the light beam enters the eye in a natural way, without dazzling, and reaches the lower part of the retina, rich in photoreceptors. These then trigger the beneficial action of light on the brain: suppression of melatonin and secretion of wake-up hormones (serotonin, cortisol, etc.).
The Luminette® is a light therapy device that is worn like a pair of glasses. While doing their light therapy session, the user can go about their usual business: having breakfast, reading a book, brushing their teeth, etc.
The Luminette® can be used with glasses or contact lenses.
Use Luminette® once a day upon waking for 20 to 30 minutes and feel the beneficial effects after 4 to 5 days!
